The Career Excel Program provides extensive career counseling services to upcoming and recent college graduates to help them navigate the job market with confidence. We have in-depth experience coaching students and graduates from a diverse group of colleges, with a variety of majors and career paths. We use research, data, and our relationships with recruiters from top employers to inform our work with students.

42% of college graduates are Underemployed.

Underemployed is defined as recent graduates working low-skilled, low-paying jobs that do not require a college degree. Although the country's unemployment rate is at an all-time low, 4.5%, the job market remains harsh for recent grads. Recent data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York shows that the underemployment rate of recent grads in 2018 is 42.2%.

That's where we come in.

We understand that getting a job after college can be challenging, and employers have high expectations, even for recent graduates just starting their careers. There is a clear gap between the skills recent grads think they have to offer and what employers expect from them to be hired. Although colleges may prepare students for academic rigor and graduate school, they often are not giving students a game plan required for career success. Career coaching has become a key source of success for new graduates transitioning from being a "student" to "professional", and learning how to secure employment.

Career Excel's services are specifically designed to help college graduates navigate the job market with confidence.

We have worked with students from across the country:
